The Homestuck Kickstarter is something that was started to fund a video game that wont be coming out for 2 years. It originally started off with the goal of 700k but since then has surpassed 1.5million.
And of course people are getting butthurt about it for all sorts of dumb reasons.

ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' this doodle. I still can't believe how many people backed it. Then again, the Homestuck fandom is pretty vast. I wish I could have donated but I'm broke.

DeleteWhy is it that someone making a ton of money in a short span of time is demonized rather than celebrated? Think about it. The man is getting thousands to make something that thousands (millions?) of people enjoy... Money simply reflects those peoples' value in this thing... Sorry, just a quick gripe.
